Music for Strings  ~  Solos  ~  Chamber Music  ~  String Ensemble & String Orchestra

Birchwood Music - Specialized Arranging

Since 2002 Birchwood Music has specialized in publishing music for strings.

     - We carry a wide range of repertoire from the Renaissance to the 20th century, with emphasis on making alternative parts available for specialized groups (i.e. violin - and cello - parts to cover viola; viola parts to cover cello; and other unique alternatives that special occasions may call for).
     - We also make some pieces available in alternate key versions: original keys for more experienced performers; "string-friendly" keys for beginner ensembles.

We are always creating new works and arrangements, and have, over the years, received requests for arrangements for particular string combinations (both from works originally for strings, or from other genres - e.i. piano works or pieces for chorus). If you can't find an arrangement of a piece you'd like to perform, and would like us to consider creating one and adding it to our catalog, please let us know and we'll see if we can come up with an agreeable solution for you!
